Job Description:
An International Architectural outsourcing company requires a candidate for its India operations, B-Arch with 10 - 15 yrs of exp in the Architectural Industry. Ability to handle architecture Studio, manage people would be a plus. Exposure in international projects esp. on construction documentation & millwork of American & Canadian architecture would be an added advantage. Expert level knowledge in BIM, Revit Architecture. Must have worked on Revit and delivered large complex projects. BIM experience with parametric cost estimating & Project schedule management is a plus. Familiarity with other Autodesk Revit, Naviswork, (clash detection in services) Ecotect, green Build studio would be an added advantage. If experienced in ArchiCAD, MEP, Revit, Revit structure, to be highlighted.
SOFTWARE SKILLS: Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, 3DS Max.
High proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, 3D Max is required and skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or other architectural software- Knowledge of 3D packages would be an advantage.

BIM Projects for Architectural/Interior Design Discipline. Preparation of Architectural drawings and ability to read International consultants drawings. Produce design development and construction documents using Revit Architecture for projects in the US, Canada, UK, Australia & Middle East.
- Prepare schematic drawings based on the project brief.
- Check and guide draftsmen in preparing architectural drawings for Architectural and Interior design projects.
- Create architectural details drawings & sketches.
- Analyze building specifications & codes to create architectural design.
- Understand consultant drawings and documents.
- Handle projects independently as well as in teamwork.
- Preparation of 3D model of a building in Revit Architecture, Revit Structure.
- Generating Quantity and cost reports from the intelligent 3D model.
- Generating 2D drawing from the Revit model.
- Clash detection and co-ordination using Navisworks.
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD tools like Sheet Setting & Arrangement, Working in Model and Layout, Scheduling of Members, Detailed Knowledge on Drafting Layering, Knowledge of XREF, Sheet understand and execute independently in AUTOCAD
- Generation of 3D structural models using Revit Structures.
- Preparation of drawings extracted from the 3D model
- Preparation of engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Implementing BIM within the Structures team.
- Report to peers highlighting potential issues and resourcing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and project CAD/BIM Standards.
- Adherence to Client Quality Procedures.
- Manage own workload to ensure timely and accurate deliverable output to tight deadlines.
- Supervise and mentor junior CAD technicians or apprentices if required.
- Ensure full records of incoming/outgoing project and issued information are maintained (Project documentation).
