Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning
- Evaluate the new premises in terms of architectural feasibility
- Seek inputs from concerned departments (Operations, VM, marketing, Finance) for store planning
- Capex creation and estimation
- Supervise layout planning for the entire store, fixture ordering
- Improvement of existing processes for a better turnaround
- Recommend design improvements and changes to suit Indian conditions
Project Execution
- Start project execution after the final agreement sign off
- Monitor PMs for execution
- Review project schedules from PMs
- Track the progress, redeploy in case of delays
- Review site pictures
- Ensure signoff of handover process
- Ensure coordination between RMs and RPMs
- Store to be snag free
- Documentation of all drawings and assets during handing over
- Control project schedules, make schedules based on time required
- Coordinate with finance, operations and support in store opening issues.
Financial planning
- Work within the budget and make efforts to reduce/optimise costs
- Review decisions and deviations against the frozen capex
- Identify new vendors and participate in negotiations, Use the rate analysis formats for negotiation
- Vendor assessment for quality and cost
- Finalize and review of final bills
Desired Profile:
- Candidate should have experience in designing retail Stores.
- Should minimum 12+ Yrs of Experience in Interior Designing.
- Should have exposure working with Retail Organization or With Retail Store Design Firm.
