PURPOSE:
- This position is responsible for providing academic and business leadership to the School of the academy. This position will provide academic excellence and overall direction to the school.This role will be responsible for managing the academic resources, the quality of the product, operational efficiencies and profitable results of the school.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with Head- Academics, Academic Development Office and Academic Quality &Support teams to ensure maintenance of academic systems, process, quality and standards.
- Manages the Manpower costas per the budget ofthe School to ensure profitable operations and sustainable growth.
- Develops and implements strategic and operational growth plans for the School of Pearl Academy.
- Works with faculty and staff to foster a student-centered learning environment.
- Designs and implements the product portfolio in the School based on market intelligence; and optimal delivery approach (campus-based/hybrid / on-line) and differentiates it from similar product in the market place.
- Promotes and supports multidisciplinary teams (marketing & academic) for the design and roll-out of new programs.
- Implements adequate measures to meet the Schools Key Result Areas (Financial Performance, Faculty Utilization, TQ- MQ scores, NPS & Employability standards pertaining to faculty & students of the school) and to maintain an effective system of budgeting control.
- Works closely with Sales & Marketing team for a comprehensive understanding of the market segments and customers, the development of competitive advantage and helping the sales & marketing team develop effective marketing and sales strategy and campaigns.
- Fosters partnerships with the higher education communityand professional organizations.
- Partners will HR team to recruit, retain and develop faculty members.
- Aligns with the Laureate Network to position the School with competitive differentiation and innovative products.
- Positions the school as an intellectual/thought leader in its domain through relevant research outputs, academic and industry engagement and events.
- Align and engage with the industry to match industry expectations with student outcomes and curriculum.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant Masters Degree with at least 15 years of experience in a senior academic/business role. Exposed to best-in-class business practices, strong financial acumen, and knowledge of corporate governance. Exposure to industry is desired.
